The Great Laxey Wheel or “Lady Isabella” is the largest working waterwheel in the world. A brilliant example of Victorian engineering she was built in 1854 to pump water from the Laxey mines.

This cross stitch pack is a pictorial representation of the Laxey Wheel set in the hillside in Laxey, Isle of Man.

The design chart is printed on A4 sheets and includes full instructions and both tapestry and embroidery needles.

The Great Laxey Wheel 8 ¾” x 11 ½” : 22.25cm x 29.25cm on Zweigart, 100% cotton Blue Aida and contains Madeira Mouliné embroidery threads.
